Everyone's journey is different. Some people get to a point in their life when they contemplate buying a fast car, getting a new tattoo or frankly telling their boss to "take this job and shove it." Others make peace with who they are and where they've been and meander peacefully within the existence they've spent years creating. Us? When we were staring in the face of "someday" retirement with the question of "what next" on our minds, we wanted to create an opportunity that would fuel our passion for being productive (you can't just turn that off you know) partnered with a chance to have a self-run business where we called the shots. After too many years to mention working in education and in marketing, we daydreamed about a way to combine our passion for travel with a way to continue to utilize our skills helping people and being super creative.
Thus, Sea For Yourself was born. This travel agency is the brain child of four friends, two of which who have been partners in crime for more than 40 years (probably more like 45 but whose counting?). The other two? They are the brawn to our brains (at least that's what we tell them) and the ones who keep us sane as well as drive us crazy. Between us we have two teachers/administrators, one entrepreneur/business executive, and another with some decent marketing/advertising chops. Throw us all together and you have a recipe for a grounded, customer-focused, hands-on travel agency that is hell-bent on giving you the best possible experience (and saving you some cash in the process).
We've been there. We know the kind of service we always have hoped to receive. We've also dealt with all kinds of kinds. We know that we repeatedly go back to the businesses that appreciate us as clients and go above and beyond to earn our trust. So that's how we operate here. We will earn your business by giving you the type of VIP experience we like to have ourselves. Our first clients were friends and family and that's how you will be treated. That's just how we operate.
We will never strive to take the place of a large full-service, soup to nuts travel agency. Those organizations provide much needed information, resources and experience. They can offer a different experience than we do. Ever been to a TJMaxx? Or a Marshalls? Think of us kind of like that. We offer the same high quality experiences (trips, vacations, cruises, etc.) but (in most instances) at a reduced price. Sometimes you do need to go to a larger business to find what you need but other times you find amazing deals elsewhere (like here, with us).
Our agency provides a more boutique, 1x1 relationship with our clients. We pride ourselves on enhanced customer service, very personalized itineraries, listening to what your needs and wants are in the perfect vacation, and then working our magic to see what we can make happen.
